Residents of Oyster Bay Cove have a wonderful opportunity to protect and preserve their quality of life in the village. To take advantage of this opportunity is easy. It just takes a stop at the polls on June 16 and a vote for Ralph Fumante and Denis O'Kane for village trustees.

Fumante and O'Kane have the backing of the Citizens Association of Oyster Bay Cove, headed by Chris Randolph. Oyster Bay Cove residents are fortunate to have these two solid candidates willing to serve. Both believe in representative and responsive government. Both are committed to maintaining the character and natural beauty of the village. Both have proven abilities. Both can be relied upon to do the right thing, rather than the easy thing. Both can be trusted to keep the residents informed.

Because two incumbent trustees have decided to give up their seats, there will be a fresh perspective in Oyster Bay Cove. As the name of the office suggests, trustees hold the voters' trust. I join the Citizens Association in putting my trust in Fumante and O'Kane. I hope other village residents will join us for the sake of Oyster Bay Cove.
