The Oyster Bay Power Squadron wishes to announce the spring safe boating course. The course is to be given at the Oyster Bay High School and will begin on Wednesday, April 22.

The hours of instruction are from 8 to 10 in the evening, and the class will meet in the cafeteria. Instruction will consist of six two-hour sessions with a final exam.

Successful candidates will be issued a certificate of completion. Most insurance companies offer a reduction in boat insurance upon completion of the course.

There is a nominal charge for textbooks and plotting instruments.

For further information call Marvin Friedman at 922-6432 or Harold Kester at 922-4986.
