Billy Minicozzi recognized the picture of the school in Bayville. "It is the auditorium of the Bayville intermediate School. I know it by heart. It is on Mountain Ave. in Bayville. I went there in '79 and '80," he said.

He called later to say that Kevin O'Donnell recognized that there was a village hall meeting there, that evening. Right!

"It's the OBHS auditorium," suggested Andrew Palczewski, "I know that because I am in band and we have our concerts there." He was almost right. The grill work at the sides of the stage is very similar.

Andrew just finished a book report on The Chicken Doesn't Skate, a really funny story, with a lot of comedy in it. Andrew has plans for the summer. "I just applied to SummerBridge, at Friends Academy and am waiting to see if I get in. On April 22 they send out the results."

The program is for academically gifted students. We wish Andrew great success in getting into the program.

On voice mail, we received an answer. "I know the mystery picture, It's the Bayville Intermediate School Auditorium," said Scott Widyn. "All right?"

"All right!"

"It's the Intermediate School in Bayville. It's the auditorium," said Brandon Baer. "I used to go the school." His favorite subject, is Math. He is reading The Monster of the Year, by Bruce Coville. "It 's about some people who make up a billboard sign for a Monster Contest. When people respond, they think they're fake but they're real monsters." he said. Brandon is still reading the book so he doesn't know how it all ends - as yet.

On Friday, Elizabeth Demaria guessed that they mystery picture was the Oyster Bay High School performance of Hello Dolly, which was another good guess. - DFK
