The community has a lot to look forward to, with the opening of the Boys & Girls Clubhouse on May 2 and 3. The response to the gala has been wonderful, said Camile Mastellone, development director. They are almost at capacity now. If you haven't responded, don't delay!

I've been hearing people talking about what they are planning to wear to the event. That bodes well for the evening. People are looking forward to both seeing the inside of the building and enjoying themselves at the dinner dance.

The Hal Hoffman Orchestra will be playing. They are a great favorite and are regulars at the Oyster Festival.

The building is looking wonderful on the outside. The landscaping is a perfect touch.

One evening I drove by and saw the windows all lit up. I can't wait to see it all decorated that weekend. It is going to be a wonderful way to kick off activities for the children of Oyster Bay-East Norwich.

It's going to be a memorable weekend!
