East Norwich Commons Okayed
It came as a surprise to opponents, that the East Norwich Commons site plan was approved by the Oyster Bay Town Board on Feb. 5. The project had been before the board last year, and the resolution was tabled. It was not listed on the regular calendar on Feb. 5, but was an add-on resolution. "It was taken off the table," was the way a town hall spokesperson explained the action.

Chelsea Center Hosts March 26 Meeting of the ENCA
The East Norwich Civic Association has several concerns that should bring residents to their meeting on March 26, at 7:30 p.m. at the Chelsea Center in East Norwich. The news that the East Norwich Commons is a fait accompli, in spite of concerns about traffic and sewage, and the proposed St. Dominic Campus South - the playing fields- will be items on their agenda.
