DeBellis Wins Job Through Year 2000.
Oyster Bay Water District election took place on Dec. 9. Incumbent commissioner, John DeBellis of Oyster Bay was re-elected for a three-year term. Mr. DeBellis ran unopposed and received 159 votes. The election took place at the Oyster Bay Community Center from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9. His term of office runs from Jan. 1, 1998 through Dec. 31, 2000.
