Portuguese Soccer Club To Celebrate Championship

The Mineola Portuguese Soccer Club will be celebrating their seventh Long Island Soccer-Futebol League championship on February 20 at the Mineola Portuguese Center (306 Jericho Turnpike, Mineola) with a gala and fundraiser. In addition to a live band and both American and Portuguese cuisine, the event will include the 2009 MPSC Hall of Fame inductions, appearances by former MPSC players who have since played professionally, the owners of the sponsoring companies, and local politicians.
