Corpus Christi CYO Boys Earn Tough Win

The Corpus Christi Boys third grade basketball team hit the road and earned a 21-11 victory against a very fast, disciplined Our Lady of Lourdes of Malverne team at the Willow Road School in Valley Stream.

The hard earned road win was the result of some quick ball handling, superb passing, strong defense and quality shooting.  Joe Lubrano led the Lions scoring with 10 points. The rest of the scoring came from Daniel Kogan, Kevin Perlow, Matt Forte, Joshua Guiron and Kenny Solosky. As always, Mikai Bogle led the team with 10 steals. Jeremy Samuel impressed with his numerous assists and ball handling skills.

The Lions expect to continue their hard work, determination and fun as they square off against St. Raymond’s of East Rockaway.
