Mineola Mini-Mustangs Win Again

Lamonica’s strike in the third minute of the game got Mineola going. Patalano’s three consecutive goals came during the first twelve minutes of the game. Emma Feimer, off a sefless pass from Casey Conners, scored the final goal for the Mini-Mustangs, who improved to 4-0-1.

Mineola Mayhem Staying Strong

Mineola’s U-14 Boy’s travel soccer team has started off their season very strong with a steady second place showing. Moving up a division this season has only made the boys work harder together as a team. The strong goalkeeping skills of Jonathan Klicpera along with the fine defensive efforts of Scott Rivera, Luis Pires, Alex Krichmar, and Michael Doherty has kept opponents to a mere four goals against Mayhem this season. High scorers for the team are Josh Lopes with five goals; Justin Sandler and Juan Galvez with four goals each; Andre Cancelhina, Mark Carvalho and Dylan Murphy with two goals each. Peter Petrakos, Alexis Majano, Patrick Lynch and Stephen Amendoeira blend together to form a strong midfield.

Keep up the good teamwork, Mayhem!
