On Oct.9, Craig Pinto, executive director of the Kicking 4 Celiac Foundation, attempted to set his second world record within a one year period; once again, he proved to be unstoppable. Last October, Pinto set the Guinness World Record for most American football field goals made in a 12 hour period with 717, while raising money for Celiac Disease research and awareness. This time, he wanted to set the bar a little higher.
This year he fought through the heat and the pain, and managed to make 1,000 forty yard field goals, and now can add most American football field goals made in 24 hours to his growing list of accomplishments. In addition to setting a new world record, Pinto once again raised money and awareness for Celiac Disease, a disease he has lived with, along with Crohn’s Disease, for over 10 years.
Guinness Book of World Records recently certified his accomplishment.
