On Saturday, Aug. 13, the Mineola Summer Baseball 9/10U team player’s and their families joined for a season celebration barbeque and awards ceremony at Wilson Park in Mineola. The Knights of Columbus Council #2502, in a show of community togetherness and support, invited the Mineola team to join them at their annual family barbeque and it was an absolute home run.

Both organizations socialized, enjoying burgers, hot dogs, summer salads and ice cream, providing yet another example of the Mineola Spirit that makes this community such a special place to live and raise a family.
