The Mineola Portuguese Center, Long Island’s oldest Portuguese Club, will hold a celebration of its 75th Anniversary of the first Portuguese-American settlement on Long Island and the soccer team that started it all. The gala will take place on March 12 at 8 p.m. in the Center’s grand ballroom at 306 Jericho Turnpike in Mineola.
New York State Senator Jack Martins, Nassau County Legislator Richard Nicolello, Nassau County Comptroller George Maragos, former New England Revolutions player Gary Flood, Fmr. NY/NJ MetroStar Shawn Moeman, owner of the LI Rough Riders Peter Zaratin, former professional Arena Football player, World Record Holder and Kicking4Celiac Foundation Founder Craig Pinto, and renowned orthopedic surgeon at NYU, Dr. David Pereira.
