John P. Lonegan Jr., of Mineola, died on Aug. 25, 2010. He was a retired captain, FDNY. Beloved husband of the late Catherine. Devoted father of Larry (Ellen) Lonegan and the late John. Loving grandfather of Justin and Christopher. Dear brother of Eileen Brown. Arrangements were made by the Cassidy Funeral Home, Mineola. Funeral Mass at Corpus Christi Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
