St. Aidan School’s Early Childhood Open House

School Budget Meeting

The Mineola Board of Education and administration will be holding a meeting on Thursday, Nov. 19 at 7:30 p.m. at Mineola High School, 10 Armstrong Road in Garden City Park. The meeting will focus on the school budget, an analysis of the district’s expenses ad projected revenues and well as a discussion on a tax levy cap.

Free Legal Consultation For Seniors

The Nassau County Bar Association provides free monthly legal consultation clinics for Nassau County residents 65 or older. Seniors have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with an attorney who volunteers to provide a half-hour private consultation on any topic of concern. The next clinic will be held from 9:30 to10:30 a.m. at NCBA, 15th and West Sts. This popular free program regularly fills up quickly.
