Winthrop-University Hospital's 24th Annual Golf Tournament is scheduled for Monday, May 4 at the Creek and Meadow Brook Golf Clubs, and Winthrop is pleased to announce that Mark J. Robertson, director of operations for Phoenix Medical Construction, will chair the event.
Winthrop's annual golf tournament is one of the most important fundraisers of the year for the hospital; last year, the event raised a record $430,000 in support of pediatric and adult emergency services. The participation of community members and hospital supporters is vital to the success of the event.
As director of operations and founding partner at Phoenix Medical Construction Company (PMC), Robertson oversees the operation of the company's New York office, located in Mineola.

Robertson has been active in construction specific to healthcare for over 15 years and has been involved in hundreds of projects. He holds general contractor licenses in Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina and South Carolina, and is currently studying for the general contractor licensing exam in the state of Hawaii.
