Opinion

Every now and then we get a chance to see how a group of students can perform at the highest levels. This past weekend, our community was treated to an exemplary performance of the musical, Les Miserables. I have seen countless high school musicals over the years, and this was one of the best. A true joy in every aspect - singing, acting, music, staging, directing, energy, lighting and sound. This production of Les Miserables in our renovated auditorium was more like a Broadway experience than a high school musical. Wow, it was a great performance!

My congratulations to director Joe Owens and the cast and crew of Les Miserables. Bravo!
