According to police, at 10:55 a.m. a suspect entered the bank and approached the teller. Police said that after the suspect displayed a silver handgun, he gave a note demanding cash.

The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the bank on foot eastbound through the parking lot toward Beebe Road, police said.

There were no injuries and, at the time of the robbery, there were six employees and one customer present, police said.
