The green teem of the Mineola PAL 12-13-year-olds team finished the regular season with a 4-8 record, leaving them in third place. They went into the playoffs, defeated second place team in the first round in an exciting 2-1 game. An amazing goal was scored with just minutes left on the clock on the beautiful pass from Andrew Romano to Brandon Volino. This win took them to the championship round against the fist place team.

Andrew Romano scored the first goal with a pass from Volino, setting the tone and the skaters played their hearts out for the rest of the game. The two teams battled right down to the wire with the green team coming out on top with a remarkable win of 6-5.

Thanks to Roger Barnaby, Anthony Franzini, Luke Grgas, Matthew Ines, John Kaeck, Sean McGill , Michael McCabe, Eddie Morrison, Eric Poshka, Andrew Romano, Paul Tantillo, Vincent Tullo and Brandon Volino for skating and playing hard all season.
