Cornelia A. Kiernan, of Williston Park, died on Jan. 15, 2008. Wife of Patrick J. Grandmother of Kaitlin (Greg), Megan, Cononor, Courtney, Katie, Michael, Danny, Brian, Riley and Matthew. Great-grandmother of Aidan. Sister of Mary Ryan (Phil), Daniel Mulvey (Mary Ann) and John Pang (Ogeeh). Sister-in-law of Theresa O'Connor (John). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. (Nee Zinober) Died in Milwaukee on Tuesday, January 8, 2008. She was the beloved wife of the late Stanley Forman, the cherished mother of Rachel and her husband Dr. Boaz Avital, Fran, and Jack and his wife Sue and the loving grandma to Ilana Avital, Estela Mitrani, Tamar Avital, and Victor Mitrani. Laura was the sister of the late Murray Zinober, the late Esther Bernstein, and the late Bernard Zinober. Laura was born on August 30, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York to Samuel and Fannie Sarnoff Zinober. She worked with her husband in their business, Crown Paint and Wallpaper Company, in Williston Park, New York, and was active in the Kiwanis Club of the Willistons, the Paint Dealers' Association of New York City, the Boulevard Tenants' Association, NYC Tenants' Association, and the United Community Centers in Brooklyn, New York. Her children and grandchildren treasure their memories of her mighty intelligence, warmth, and marvelous sense of humor. Interment was at Mount Ararat Cemetery, Long Island, NY on Friday, January 11, 2008. Memorial contributions, in her name, may be made to Grand Avenue Club at 210 E. Michigan Ave., Milwaukee WI 53202.
