'Old' Building Department Comes Tumbling Down
Criminal charges have been filed against five men who worked in the Town of North Hempstead Building Department including former commissioner David Wasserman, former deputy commissioner Joseph Madden, former plan examiner Andrew Acierno, former plumbing inspector Joseph Lomonaco and building inspector Thomas McDonough.

Mustang Golfers Turn the Corner
Mineola Golf Coach Al Weidlein has spent the past 20 years teaching junior golf and playing Metropolitan Golf Association tournaments. He knows the game, and for the first time in years, is inspired by the level of commitment and vast improvement his Mustang squad has shown.
