Robber Arrested as He Returned to Scene of Crime
According to the Nassau County Robbery Squad, William Facarazzo, 59, of Mineola, was arrested in connection with a bank robbery that occurred on May 5, at North Fork Bank, 422 Hillside Avenue, Williston Park.

In a well-played game, the Cardinals lost to the Reds 9-7. For the Cardinals, Robert Lang threw three and a third strong innings and had a double and triple. Connor Smith also had two triples and Stephen Gallo had two hits and an RBI. For the Reds, Tiago Goncalves and Matthew Millwood pitched for the Reds and did an outstanding job of holding down the hard-hitting Cards. They are the eighth and ninth different pitchers to be used by the young and versatile Reds this season.

Mineola Pool to Open June 16
It will be pool season in Mineola beginning June 16 when the pool opens. The daily pool hours will be June 16-22 from noon to 8 p.m.; June 23-Aug. 17 on Mondays from 2 to 9 p.m. and then Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. (Adult - 18 and older - swimming only); Water Exercise Class from 9 to 9:45 a.m.; Aug. 18 - Sept. 3 from noon to 8 p.m.
