For 2007 the members of the Mineola Fire Department have chosen Scott Holliday, Robert Connolly and Joseph Pratt to lead the department as chiefs of the Mineola Volunteer Fire Department. These three individuals all have extensive emergency service backgrounds in their professional careers and it is the first group of chiefs that were all former members and officers of the Mineola Junior Fire Department. Board Votes Unanimously to Undergo Process -- At Wednesday evening's meeting of the Mineola Board of Trustees, the board acted unanimously to reassess all the properties in the Village of Mineola.
