There should be something grander, larger and more poignant that I could say than "Thank You." I was gratified by the outpouring of support that I saw for Jack, John and me during our recent re-election campaign. Residents telling us, "good job" and "you have our family's vote" were frequently heard and very welcomed. On the night we counted the votes, I sat humbled and grateful that the job that we did and the promises that we made and kept were recognized by our neighbors and friends in Mineola.
On April 16, I will raise my right hand and once more take an oath to serve the residents of our beautiful village. All I can say is that I will be true to that oath. I will work to the best of my ability to keep Mineola on the path that you, by your vote, have told us is the right path. I will work with the mayor and my fellow trustees to keep Mineola as the best place in America to live, to shop and to work.
Know in your hearts that there are no words that can express the undying gratitude I hold for all residents of Mineola for allowing me to serve them. I will demonstrate that gratitude by my actions well beyond whatever years I serve as an elected official. For now please accept the inadequate phrase, Thank You!
