Winthrop-University Hospital will host its sixth annual Swim-a-Thon on Sunday, April 22, from 7-11:30 a.m. at Hofstra University's Swim Center. Open to swimmers age 6 and older, the event was initiated in 2002. Since then, more than $78,000 has been raised to benefit the hospital's Pediatric Fund for the Future. FULL STORY
