Mineola HS Alumni Foundation Says Take a Seat
Mineola High School Alumni Foundation co-president Paul Cusato said that when the foundation formed in 1999, there were three main objectives - to organize graduates of Mineola High School, award scholarships each year to graduating seniors and to establish funds to enrich and support social and educational activities. Now, eight years later, the Mineola High School Alumni Foundation has met all of its goals.

Hard Luck Boys Bowlers Make Strides
Mineola varsity boys bowling coach Helms Bohringer had reasonable aspirations for the 2006-2007 season. Improving on a fifth place conference finish and possible plotting his fourth county playoff push in six seasons at the helm would generate a successful campaign. Senior Joe Calvao would once again be the catalyst while fellow classmates Bryan O'Malley and Paul Tapias would attempt to capture awards. Little did Bohringer know just how close his team would come to fulfilling these goals.
Corpus Christi CYO Basketball Report
The Corpus Christi 7th grade boys (8-2) hosted a very tough team from St. Aidan's. The game was a tough battle from beginning to end with the Lions coming out victorious 43-30 in front of a packed house.
