The Mineola Booster Club is sponsoring the fifth annual Mustang Stakes fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007 from 7-11 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 186 Jericho Turnpike in Mineola. The cost is $22 per person.

The Mustang Stakes is a night full of fun with your friends, neighbors and school faculty. There will be plenty of food and an open bar while you bet on your favorite Mustang.

The proceeds from this event will go to the Mineola Booster Club, which provides college scholarships for graduating senior student athletes, summer sports camp scholarships for students in grades 8-11, the Annual Sports Awards Dinner, Annual Tri-Athlete Awards Ceremony and more.

Also, you can own a horse for the night for $10. As an owner, you get to name your horse. In addition, if your horse wins, you win $30. There are only 47 horses available so get your horse early. If you are interested, add $10 to your ticket order and give us the name of your horse.

Checks should be made payable to the Mineola Athletic Booster Club Inc., and sent to Mary Boeshore, Mineola Athletic Booster Club, 183 Peachtree Lane, Roslyn Heights, NY 11577.
