Miller Jr., 78, of Mineola, died on Nov. 6, 2006. He served with the NYPD from 1953 through 1988, was president of the Corpus Christi Holy Name Society and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He as a charter member of the Retired Sergeant's Association and was chairman, recording secretary and treasurer of the Board of Trustees. He received a citation from President Nixon for saving a construction worker at Roosevelt Field Mall. Husband of Lorraine for 58 years. Father of Diane Mastrarrigo, Lorraine Morrow, Denise Cox, Irene Sasso and Edward III. Grandfather of Joseph and Jenny Mastrarrigo, Kristen and Steven Cox and Lauren Sasso.
