Thompson, of Albertson, died on Sept. 9, 2006. He was a NYC fireman for over 20 years. He was a life member of Albertson VFW Post #5253, former vice president of the Albertson Republican Club and water commissioner of Albertson for over 30 years. Husband of Bernice.
