The Mineola Athletic Association will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a picnic and awards day on Saturday, Sept. 23 from noon to 6 p.m. (rain date is Sunday, Sept. 24) at the Willis Avenue baseball fields. Bring your own picnic and the MAA will provide soda and ice cream. The awards ceremony will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

The day will prove to be fun for all and is open to all active and past MAA members so come down and celebrate the rich history of the Mineola Athletic Association. There will be softball, a balloon toss and tug-of-war.
