On Saturday, July 1, 2006, the Mineola Pool held its first splash party of the season. "Family Fun Night" was a huge success thanks to the Mineola Pool staff and Metro DJ Entertainment. Mineola patrons enjoyed swimming, dancing, and eating all night long.

Mark your calendar for further upcoming events. Our new seasonal competitive swim team will have its first swim meet on Wednesday, July 26, at 6 p.m. and our second "Family Fun Night" will take place on Saturday, July 29, from 8-10:30 p.m.

Starting July 15t, the pool facility will be opening for its regular hours. The pool will be open from 10-9 on Saturdays and Sundays. On Mondays, the pool will be open from 2-9, due to the use of the pool by the Special Education program and the Summer Recreation program. For Tuesday thru Friday, the pool will be open at 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. for Early Bird Swim, with Aquasize class beginning at 9 a.m. This time is for all those patrons who are 18 or over. The pool will be open to the rest of the public from 10-9. Modified hours will begin Aug. 19.
