Under the guidance and leadership of coach Mo Schneider, the Wheatley Boys Varsity tennis team completed an undefeated season and captured its Division and Conference titles. The team completed its regular season with a record of 12-0 to win its division championship and qualify for the conference playoffs. In the semi-final match, Wheatley hosted Oceanside and defeated the "Sailors" by a score of 6-1 to advance to the Championship match against Bellmore Kennedy High School. Playing without their numbers two and three singles players, Wheatley maintained its perfect season with a 4-3 victory in the title match.

Incredibly, singles players Adam Schwartz, David Fink and Ryan Fitzgerald and the doubles team of Scott Gorski and Andrew Reich were undefeated during league and playoff competition. Senior Adam Schwartz, who is ranked #2 in the Eastern States Region of the USTA, kept his perfect record intact by winning the Nassau County Singles title. He went on to represent Wheatley and Nassau County in the New York State Tennis Championships.
Other members of the team who saw action during the season as alternates were: Andrew Brooks, Jacob Gallice, Harriman Lee, Jordan Lurie, Brian Mayrsohn, Jesse Reich, Jason Nadelman, Michael Robbins, Michael Rogers. Alex Rosenthal was the team manager.
