The New Hyde Park Runners club will hold its 29th Annual 5 Mile and One Mile Run on June 4. The race will both start and finish, rain or shine, at the Denton Avenue School, Denton Avenue, New Hyde Park.

Registration fee is $20 and $10 for anyone 12 years old or younger or anyone 65-years or older. One dollar off for members of the Long Island Track & Field.

Check in time is at the Denton Avenue School between 7:30 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. on race day. The One Mile Fun Run will begin at 8:40 a.m. followed by the Five Mile Run at 9:15 a.m. Race shirts will be guaranteed for all pre-registrants. Refreshments, time splits and water stops will also be part of the run.

Awards will be given out after the race for all age groups, teams, racewalkers, Clydesdales and special awards.

While waiting for the race results the officials will continually read off the winners of those who have taken changes on the many donated prizes.
