It is once again time for the Mineola Fair as the community will come together at Memorial Park for a day filled with meeting neighbors and local merchants, representatives from the different organizations in Mineola, non-stop entertainment and crafts.

Mineola Mustangs Sports News
The Mineola girls varsity lacrosse team has had itself quite a season. The Lady Mustangs completed an undefeated (11-0) season and won the Conference II championship. Mineola completed its unbeaten season with a 17-15 win over Lynbrook. Senior Allie Kain scored a career-high seven goals, which included an insurance goal with 33 seconds left.

PAL Chiefs Defeat Freeport
The Mineola PAL 5th and 6th grade Chiefs dominated Freeport, winning 7-3. The Mineola Chiefs completely controlled the face-offs, which enabled them to control the game. Both Brian Gaffney and Brian Ehrhardt went a combined 10-0 on face-offs. Sparked by a strong defense, the Chiefs forced several shotless possessions. The saves made by Tevin Carlo (7 saves) and Nick Miller (8 saves) helped the Chiefs win their second game of the year.
