Attention all runners. Get ready for another exciting Long Island States Parks' Summer Run Series. Sign up and be part of the most successful running series on Long Island. This eight-week running series offers island-wide competition, exciting prizes, free refreshments and Long Island's largest finale hero party.

The schedule is as follows:

June 12 Jones Beach State Park 5 Miles

June 19 Sunken Meadow State Park 10K

June 26 Bethpage State Park 5 K

July 10 Hempstead Lake State Park 4 K

July 17 Belmont Lake State Park 5 K

July 24 Caumsett State Historic Park 5 K

July 31 Robert Moses State Park 1 Mile

Aug. 7 Heckscher State Park 5 Miles

All races start at 7 p.m. Races at Jones Beach, Caumsett, Belmont Lake and Heckscher State Parks are all wheelchair accessible.

The entry fees are as follows

• Full Series $50 (postmarked on or before May 31)

• In person you may register at Long Island State Parks Regional Headquarters at Belmont Lake State Park by June 10.

• Single Race entry $15. (register day of race only)

• Aug. 7 Race $20 (register day of race only, includes race awards party)
