Four Candidates for Two Seats in Next Month's Election
It looks as though Hometown Party candidates and incumbent trustees Linda Fairgrieve and Paul Cusato will have a fight on their hands as they run for re-election. Residents George Durham and Nancy Portoghese have submitted petitions to run for trustee. There are four candidates for the two trustee positions currently held by Fairgrieve and Cusato. The candidates with the two highest vote totals will fulfill the positions.

LI Colts Rugby Team Seeks Members
Registration is currently under way for 15 positions to form the under 19 Long Island Colts boys rugby team. Yearly dues are $110 and financial assistance and rugby sponsorships are available. Practices begin this month. Garden City rugby players include Alex Buck (Garden City High School), Billy Buck, Billy Fell, Jeffrey Fell, Gregory Meli and Jared Schroder.
