Anyone who has driven on East Second Street near Roslyn Road has noticed that the Allied Building property has come down. It certainly is different to see that area wide open. With the Roslyn Road railroad grade crossing elimination project ongoing, the look of the area has already begun to change. One casualty of the property is New York Ravioli & Pasta Company, which has moved to another community. FULL STORY

The Mineola Mustang Run/Walk celebrated its 21st birthday on Nov. 20 with approximately 1,000 runners and walkers who participated in the 1-mile and 3.1-mile events. Over the years, this event has raised over $400,000, which has been donated back to the community. FULL STORY
