The New Hyde Park/Garden City Park School Board appointed, at its last school board meeting, Michael Frank as assistant superintendent for business. Frank will take over for Bonnie Palker who is retiring at the end of the year.

Frank is currently an assistant business administrator for the Mineola School District. He will be leaving a K-12 grade district to go to a K-6 grade district.

Frank has a bachelor's degree in accounting and business from State University of New York in Albany, an MBA in finance and banking from Hofstra University and a school business administrator's professional diploma from C.W. Post. He interned for a year at the Cold Spring Harbor School District.
