Supporting Winthrop-University Hospital's Breast Imaging and Diagnostic Center, the Mineola Chamber of Commerce will host "Mineola in Style" on Tuesday, October 25 from 6:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. at the Jericho Terrace.

The event, emceed by K-JOY Radio's Kim Berk, will include hors d'oeuvres, dinner and musical entertainment by Hanson & Hanson. Advanced admission is $65 per person by October 18 or $70 at the door; $100 per couple by October 18 or $120 at the door, and $55 per person for senior citizens.

"This premier event brings together the community to showcase the wonderful style businesses that call Mineola home, while supporting a terrific health care facility Mineola is proud to have in its backyard," explained Steve Ford, first vice president of the Mineola Chamber of Commerce.

"The Center helps patients from diagnosis through treatment, but when they go home, they still need emotional support," explained Susana Fuchs, MD, director of Winthrop's Breast Imaging and Diagnostic Center. "This benefit helps Winthrop continue supporting patients and their families. And we are happy to be a part of an event that further promotes breast cancer awareness. It's a win-win situation for the entire community."
