Jason Napolitano, president of Jay's World Childhood Cancer Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit organization, announced that the first annual Jay's World "Walk With Me" event will be held at Mineola Memorial Park in Mineola. Dedicated volunteers, walkers and the directors of Jay's World will once again come together to continue in their mission "to raise funds to benefit children and help support the fight against childhood cancer." Those participating in the 3-mile walk will walk alongside a cancer survivor whose life has been changed by Jay's World.

Put on your favorite walking shoes on Sept. 18 and join Jason Napolitano, volunteers and the staff of Jay's World Childhood Cancer Foundation, Inc. for a fun day and support a worthwhile cause at the same time. In addition, meet MSG and ESPN sports commentator and former goalie for the New York Cosmos, Shep Messing, and hear WOR radio's talent search finalist Michelle Raitzin sing the national anthem after opening ceremonies.

For further information about Jay's World Childhood Cancer Foundation, Inc. visit www.jaysworld.org. If you wish to become a team leader, create a team name, or learn about sponsorship opportunities for this coming Sept. 18 event, please call Jason Napolitano at 889-0583. All sponsors will be recognized on the "Walk With Me" T-shirts as well as the distance markers at the event.
