George Ketelle Trask, former Williston Park resident for 40 years, died on Aug. 19, 2005 in Mt. Pleasant, SC. He was born Aug. 17, 1920 in E. Chicago, IN, the son of George Trask and Alice Barkman Trask. He was a retired custodial engineer with the NYC Public Schools. A Mason, he was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Charleston, SC, and formerly St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Williston Park. Husband of Lucy Josephine Novellino Trask. Father of Lucy Marie Trask Dyekman (Edward), Georgeanna Trask Murphy (Kevin) and Tina Marie Trask Tole (Jeremy). Brother of Frederic Allen Trask of N. Liberty, IN, and Richard Barkman Trask of Valparaiso, IN. Grandfather of Kevin John Murphy, Michael James Murphy (Kara), Erin Leigh Murphy and Meggan Patrice Murphy. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Williston Park. Religious service was held Aug. 29 with Father Kevin Barry officiating. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park.
