More than 20 of Long Island's brightest and toughest business professionals will go head-to-head in the ring to support the 3rd Annual Long Island Fight for Charity at the Long Island Hilton at 6 p.m. The card for the evening will include more than 10 bouts that pit local business professionals against each other for charity.

One of the many anticipated bouts will include John Dnyprowsky, director of sales of Hicksville-based Advantage Payroll Services. "I started training a few weeks ago in preparation for my bout. I am looking forward to finding out who my opponent will be. The Fight for Charity is a great way to help raise funds and have a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I can't wait to get in the ring," said John.

"When we started the Fight for Charity three years ago, we never imagined how popular it would become. However, if it were not for all the individuals who volunteer to box and help us put this event together, it would never have emerged as one of the Island's premier charity networking events that it is today," said Jeff Cohen, Long Island Fight for Charity co-founder.

Tickets for the event are currently available online. Ringside seats are $250, premium seats are $100 and both include admission to a pre-event special networking and cocktail reception starting at 6 p.m. Tickets for boxing only are $50.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Long Island Community Chest, which will distribute the funds to local charities, including American Heart Association - Long Island Chapter, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island, Foundation for the Advancement of Autistic Persons, Rising Star Foundation and The Morgan Center.
