    When the proposed Mineola School District budget for the 2005-2006 school year was rejected by voters, the Mineola Board of Education decided to adopt a contingency budget.     The Mineola Community Pool held its first "splash party" of the season Saturday, July 2. Family Fun Night was a huge success thanks to all those participating, especially D.J. Steve Griffin and the pool staff who had Mineola neighbors of all ages dancing and swimming under the stars until 10:30 p.m. FULL STORY
