On a beautiful Saturday, with the temperature getting up to 85 - VinylSeal completed its weekend with a solid win. Pitchers Nick Rutigliano and Brendan Behan shutdown the powerful lineup of Harry Katz. The two combined to strike out 12 and allowed just four hits on the day. Leadoff hitter Robby Clarkin had a double, a walk, scored one run and played a solid short. Dylan Dombrowski had a hit and scored two runs. Brendan Behan had a double and scored one run. Luke Escobar walked twice and played a good first base. The infield of SS Robby Clarkin, second basemen Zachary Englis and Escobar, who plays first, almost pulled off a season first double play. The runner was just safe by a hair. Amanda Hassett playing center, made a nice catch and threw out a runner at the plate.

Teem Plumbing 3
VinylSeal entered the last weekend of the season looking to win its last two games, and that is just what they did. The first game of the weekend saw VinylSeal defeat Teem Plumbing by the score of 6 to 3. VinylSeal's Nick Rutigliano went 3 for 3, with a two-run triple and he scored two runs. Brendon Behan was 2 for 3 with a double and he scored two runs. Zachary Englis walked three times and scored two runs.
On the defensive side of the game, VinylSeal's shortstop, Robby Clarkin, threw a strike to catcher Dylan Dombrowski to gun down a runner at the plate. Dylan also thew out two base runners trying to steal. Kevin Hardiman, playing right field made another good catch. Hardiman has been playing a solid outfield all season long.
