The Mineola High School sports marketing class enjoyed a recent field trip to the world's most famous arena, Madison Square Garden.

Upon arriving at the Garden, the class was escorted to the 5,000-seat arena known as The Theatre. During their stay at The Theatre, the students listened to two Madison Square Garden representatives speak about their jobs, qualifications and educational backgrounds.

The next stop after the Luxury Suites was the basketball court. At courtside, the students learned about preparation for the numerous events that are held at the Garden. A short walk from the basketball court were the New York Knicks and New York Rangers locker rooms. Inside the Knicks' locker-room, the students managed to take a couple of photos. One photo compared a student's shoe with that of Bruno Sundov's (size 20). Tiffany Thurmond was elated as she posed for a photo in front of Stephon Marbury's locker.

The tour was completed with the class walking past both restaurants at the Garden and then posing for a group photo in the lobby.
