Mineola resident, Brandon Volino, 9, and his teammates on the Freeport Arrows squirt team wrapped up the 2004-2005 hockey season with a huge win.

The Arrows participated in the St. Patrick's Day Tournament, hosted by the Westchester Vipers in Elmsford, New York. The team won four consecutive games and took home the championship trophy.

In addition to the big win, these 15 boys had quite a season, placing third out of 12 qualifying teams of the Long Island Amateur Hockey League Tier II division. Their dedication really paid off in the end.

Congratulations to the Freeport Arrows squirt team. Do it again next year!
