Nothing is more humbling than when a community recognizes two years of hard work and difficult decisions that have resulted in the restoration of quality government. The larger than usual voter turnout clearly shows that residents are more informed and willing to participate in village matters than ever before.
I wish to thank the many voters that came out to support Larry Werther, John DaVanzo and I in this election. I wish to thank all the volunteers and contributors who helped carry our message of fiscal responsibility and open government throughout the campaign and the many residents who gave us words of encouragement and support as we walked the village. Together, John , Larry and I will continue the process of restoring fiscal health and open government to our village.
I invite all board members to work together to keep Mineola moving forward and to continue to provide the quality government that the voters overwhelmingly recognized and supported in this election.
I also wish to take this opportunity to wish Trustee Lou Santosus well in his retirement from the board and thank him for his many years of service to our community. His presence on the board will be missed.
Once again, it is my continued honor to continue to represent the residents and businesses of our village. On behalf of my family and I, thank you.
