Renee Anziano, 91, of Hendersonville, NC, died on Feb. 24, 2005 at Pardee Hospital following a short illness. She was a native of New York and had been a resident of Mineola for 50 years, prior to moving to Henderson County 12 years ago. She was a daughter of the late Michelangelo LoCascio an Paolina Ribaudo LoCascio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, who died in 1987, and a daughter, Rosalinda; two brothers, Frank (Rose) LoCascio and Louis LoCascio; three sisters, Julia LoCascio, Cira Marchese and Josephine McGuire. While living in New York, she was employed by the County of Nassau as a bookkeeper for the children's shelter. She was a member of Immaculate Conception RC Church.

Survivors include one son, Joseph Anziano (Carol) of Shrewsbury, MA; two daughters, Loretta Franz (Langdon) of Hendersonville and Sandra Anziano of Guza, China; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; her niece Providence Bouton; along with several other nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were made by the Thos. Shepherd & Son Funeral Directors. A Mass of the Resurrection was held March 2 at Immaculate Conception RC Church with Father John Aurilia officiating. Private burial Holy Rood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, WNC Chapter, PO Box 601444, Hendersonville, NC 28791.

Dante J. Luti, of Williston Park, died on Feb. 27, 2005. He was a member of Post #144, American Legion. Husband of the late Margaret T. Father of Diane Darter, Maryanne Thornton, Christine Drago and Robert Luti. Arrangements were made by the Cassidy Funeral Home, Mineola. Funeral Mass at Corpus Christi RC Church. Interment LI National Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Norbert H. Campbell, of Albertson, died on Feb. 27, 2005. He was a retired NYPD captain, past president of the National Enforcement Association and past commander of Albertson Post #5253 VFW. Husband of Ethel. Father of Barbara Campbell and Patrick Campbell. Grandfather of Jennifer, Christopher and Alexander. Brother of Muriel Becchers. Arrangements were made by the Cassidy Funeral Home, Mineola. Prayer service at the funeral home. Interment LI National Cemetery.
