Mayor Appears in Front of Nassau Planning Commission
In order for Nassau County's plan of selling the Social Services building as well as the parking lot south of the Supreme Court building located within the campus of the county seat, the Nassau County Planning Commission must subdivide the property for tax purposes in order for the sale to take place.

Mineola School Capital Projects on the Agenda
Just because the bond referendum put out by the Mineola School District last month failed, it doesn't mean the need for the repairs is going to go away. That's the message the board of education and administration is sending and at the Thursday night board of education, capital projects and the way in which the district can fund them will be on the agenda.

St. Aidan Girls' Win CYO Basketball Championship
On Saturday, Feb. 12, St. Aidan's celebrated its first CYO Girls' Basketball Championship in many years as Coach Tom Flynn's combined 7th and 8th Grade team defeated St. Gertrude of Bayville 44-32 at St. Mary's High School to complete an undefeated 16-0 season and win the 8th grade CYO Nassau-Suffolk Diocesan "B" Championship.
