Richard Cempa, 72, of Mineola, died on Jan. 3, 2005. A US Navy veteran of the Korean War, he was an honorary member of Knights of Columbus Post #2502 and the Golden Age Club of Mineola. Husband of Teresa (nee Zablocki). Father of Regina, Richard and Alicia. Grandfather of Joshua, Zachary, Stephen, Emily and Quinn. Brother of Leon, Thomas and Julian. Arrangements were made by the Cassidy Funeral Home, Mineola. Mass at Corpus Christi RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
