The Mineola Booster Club is sponsoring the third annual Mustang Stakes fundraiser on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005 from 7-11 p.m. at the American Legion Hall in Williston Park. The cost is $22 per person if you order your tickets early and $30 at the door.

The Mustang Stakes is a night full of fun with your friends, neighbors and school faculty. There will be plenty of food and an open bar while you bet on your favorite Mustang.

The proceeds from this event will go to the Mineola Booster Club, which provides college scholarships for graduating senior student athletes, summer sports camp scholarships for students in grades 8-11, the Annual Sports Awards Dinner, Annual Tri-Athlete Awards Ceremony and more.

Also, new this year you can own a horse for the night for $10. As an owner, you get to name your horse. In addition, if your horse wins, you win $30. There are only 47 horses available so get your horse early. If you are interested, add $10 to your ticket order and give us the name of your horse.
